We remain so very grateful that we have Focus On Care to care for our adorable Mum. They give our family complete peace of mind, knowing we can rely on them to look after Mum like one of their own and ensure she is able to live well with Dementia in her own home.

Everyone in Focus On Care has a positive can-do attitude and an excellent level of skill and expertise in Dementia care. Mum has made genuine friendships with her care team too; they are so compassionate, completely reliable, trustworthy and dedicated.

They are proactive and supportive of changes to Mum’s day to day care which allow her to remain active, stimulated, confident and capable of making the most of the social and family opportunities that enable her to continue living her life, the best she can, whilst she can.

We were so impressed with their professionalism during a recent emergency situation. Finding Mum unconscious on the bathroom floor, an ambulance was swiftly called for.

The paramedics where given the information they needed; blood pressure and pulse readings, an overnight bag, as well as all the essential background medical and personal information. Once Mum was safely on her way to hospital, the family where immediately contacted, even remembering to pass on the code name of the ambulance. Bless her, she remained so calm and composed.

Focus On Care is also a very well managed company. Having an accessible, single point of contact makes a huge the difference to us. We are able to easily communicate with the same manager, who knows all the history and details and is always quick to respond to us.

Focus On Care do more than provide Mum with day-to-day care for Mum, they look out for her too.
